Position Type: Part-Time (with opportunity to transition to Full-Time)
Reports To: Operations Director or Lead Educator
Position Overview
The Esthetics Instructor is responsible for educating and preparing students for successful careers in the esthetics industry through engaging theory instruction and hands-on practical training. This role plays a vital part in student development, professionalism, and readiness for licensure and the workforce.
We are happy to support and assist candidates in obtaining their instructor license, provided they hold an active esthetics license and have a minimum of two (2) years of industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Education

Deliver classroom (theory) and practical instruction aligned with state requirements and school curriculum

Teach in both classroom and student salon training areas

Prepare lesson plans prior to classroom and student salon instruction

Coach, mentor, and support students through individual and group coaching sessions
Student Support & Compliance

Monitor student attendance and academic progress daily and weekly
-
Maintain accurate records for grades, attendance, and student performance

Prepare students for licensure and industry readiness
Operational & Team Support

Follow all school policies and procedures
-
Attend staff meetings and training sessions

Assist front desk support staff as needed

Assist with inventory management
-
Support training and onboarding of new staff members
Qualifications

Active Esthetics License (required)

Minimum of 2 years of professional esthetics experience

Instructor license preferred, but not required (school will assist with licensure for qualified candidates)

We are happy to support and assist candidates in obtaining their instructor license, provided they hold an active nail technician license and have a minimum of two (2) years of professional experience.

Prepare lesson plans prior to classroom and clinic floor instruction

Demonstrate and teach nail services including manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, sanitation, and safety procedures
